Favorite insets from the first cigar box given as a gift to a friend, as a Christmas present. The Silverstein poem was a nice find about the fading world of childhood imagination, especially since I was going with an “Alice” motif here (along with the Cheshire Cat, there’s the Jefferson Airplane song on another inset). The fact there was a caterpillar in there made it fit right in. The Robin Goodfellow quote is Puck from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, another trickster like the Cheshire Cat.
